From her greatest need came her greatest passion, which gave birth to Ms. C's.

Carline recalls her mom not having much to feed her and her sisters, no matter how small. Her mom always shared with however many children stop ped at her home, "when di pot lan." Though Carline used to complain about this back then, she grew up to be passionate about cooking and feeding everyone everywhere she goes.

Known to travel with her special seasonings when visiting friends and family and almost always take over their kitchen, whether it was in college, cooking for friends on other dorms, or doing fund-raising for a cause, she traveled to the Blue Montain Valley at Avocat Primary and Junior High in her pregnant state to cook breakfast for her 150 children, cooking for the folks at her job in NY, or for church. Carline has always been cooking and feeding others. When she didn't have friends and family around, she would reach out on the Next Door app, offering her food to anyone who needed it. Her love language is truly an act of service.

Though she wouldn't share the secrets behind her tasty meals, she would always make her spice blends and rubs and give them out to family, friends and community members. She would say she doesn't have a recipe because she cooks from her heart or that her meals are seasoned with love. Yes, those spice blends and rubs were treated like a meal. Which is why Ms. C's other option is to customize your blends.

With the prompting and pushing of close friends, she has put that love in a bottle and created Ms. C's Specialty Seasonings. Staying true to her roots, Ms. C's main products are a wet jerk rub, a dry jerk spice blend, and a multipurpose blend. She believes you will indeed taste the love in these creations and hopes to spread this love to as many homes as possible and to one day be able to fulfill her biggest dream of having a place where the homeless or anyone needing a hot meal can come and be fed.
